First time customer here, wait for two was about hour and 45 minutes, and this from what I hear is an everyday thing being it's the closest one from anywhere in the surrounding 5 Burroughs without crossing the $13 Washington bridge. I ordered the 3/4 rack of ribs with two sides which were Mac & cheese and cole slaw. Entree came in pretty quick and nice and not to hot. Ribs seasoned very lightly but smoked to perfection. Meat pulls away from bone effortlessly and pork meat has a nice pink smoke ring which in the BBQ world is considered a huge plus. Don't confuse the pink for raw, it isn't. Now to the Mac&cheese was pretty standard, nothing over the top like what I heard, to me, pretty bland IMO. If you really want Mac&cheese then the place is Cheesecake Factory. Best thing on my plate was the cole slaw to be quite honest. That thing was delicious, simple seasoning (vinegar, mayo) with rich crunchy texture. Our server for the night was rebekah. She was outstanding and very helpful and very attending. Thank you rebekah for making our dining at dinosaur BBQ that much better. Will I give it another try on a less busier night? Probably not, when isn't it a busy night here! Which makes me think that the good is pretty rushed. Ribs def need some tuning

I've been here a few times for take-out and dine-in. I'm not going to pretend this BBQ place is the be-all-end-all, but it's definitely worthy of its praise. Everything from the pulled pork, to their wings, to their brisket is delicious. Just note that it's sauced on the low side so you can adjust it to your preferences; so if the BBQ seems dry, it's probably because you're meant to slather it in more of one of their sauces. The sides are no slouches either; and to be honest, it's so meat heavy that having good sides is almost a requisite. The service staff are all friendly and quick to refill all that water you'll need to chug as you chow down. I only wish it were more accessible: the closest stop is the 1 train, and there are no cross-town trains in Harlem, much to my dismay.

This place was the worst. I will give this place no star but I'm afraid that Google want you to give a least one. The food was cold the service was not good the drinks was bland. They charge a lot for nothing. You get a big plate with bones. Trust me you do not want to go there. And P.S. please don't believe the hype what other people tell you. And happy food hunting.

The service was great and the food was wonderful. The only negative thing is that everybody knows how awesome this place is so it gets pretty crowded in the evenings. Other than the crowd, which is a testament to how good Dino BBQ is, this establishment deserves 5 stars.

3.5 stars - My first dining experience at this infamous BBQ chain was actually in Rochester while on my interview trail. Remembering how much I enjoyed the chicken + the side chili, I signed up immediately after seeing the deal on Howaboutwe. My fiancé and I appeared about 15 mins late to our reservation after epic train fail. To our surprise, they held the table for us even though there was a line through the door and every person walked in was quoted for an hr and half wait. Although this place was packed to the max - our server was beyond attentive and accommodating to us. Our deal which was brought out almost immediately after seating included a sampler platter, 1/4 rack of ribs, 2 sliders, a dessert, and two flights of beer (4 flavors each). We were allowed to swap out the beer for soft drinks - on top of that, he pushed for us to get an extra free dessert to make up for the price difference we paid for the deal. The food wasn't anything extraordinary - perhaps it's because I'm not a big BBQ fan to begin with. Although the ribs were fall off the bone good, definitely wished I had the same chicken I had in Rochester instead. In addition, They didn't have the chili as a side so we opted for the sweet potato and BBQ beans which were both just ok. They also sold out on the chocolate ice box so we went with their Dino cheesecake and keylime pie - again just your standard sweets. Overall definitely an awesome deal especially for the amount of food and service we received. But I have to say Rochester dinosaur BBQ was much superior!

My now husband and I met here back in 2011, since then we fell in love with the phenomenal food. It is definitely one, I mean the best BBQ ever! After our relationship progressed and many more visits, one on the managers overheard us taking about "how cool it would be to have BBQ at our wedding reception" she told us about the "upstairs" and of curse we perused the place and fell in love with the space, thus we decided to go ahead and book it!! At first we had a few very unpleasant issues with the booking but it was made right (long story) and just this last Saturday we had our wedding reception here. Abby the new manager was simply AMAZING. She was on top of everything and even stayed late for us while we decorated the space, received and cared for 200 roses, omg.. what a life saver she was! Everyone loved the food, the décor and the friking amazing time we had. THANK you Abby and Staff for making this everything we had expected and more. Except for the 2 workers that were complaining about us leaving on time so they can get the next party in.. oh well, not everything can be perfect!
