What Is an Ectopic Pregnancy?

When a fertilized egg implants itself and grows outside of the uterus’s main cavity, it’s known as an ectopic pregnancy. Instead of attaching to the lining of the uterus, the ectopic pregnancy happens in either a fallopian tube, the ovary, abdominal cavity, or the cervix. By its nature, an ectopic pregnancy cannot proceed normally.

What Is an Anterior Prolapse?

Also known as a cystocele, an anterior prolapse happens when the bladder bulges into the vagina. This happens because the supportive tissue found between the woman’s bladder and her vaginal wall weakens then stretches. If you strain your muscles either via vaginal childbirth or chronic constipation, or even heavy lifting or violent coughing, you might be at risk for one.
