I don’t know what’s with me but I feel drawn to this park in particular. I visit it almost every weekend to kind of recharge myself with a little bit of nature’s energy. Really beautiful skyline of the city. I can sit with a book in my hand under a tree and lose track of time.
Hampstead Heath - what a wonderful place to have a walk at. I like jogging here even in rainy days. It’s peaceful and not crowded there is enough open space for everyone.
I've had a long association with Hampstead Heath - I used to live in Hampstead over a decade ago - and yet still every time I go back I am amazed at how it feels like being a million miles away from the bustling city - you are almost immediately transported into the countryside. In a city like London, given all the pressures on land prices now, it feels like an extra special privilege to have this here. Without wanting to go overboard with the superlatives, on a sunny day it honestly feels like a slice of paradise. • • •

Just stunning! This park is the greatest spot for those who love nature. You can recharge, forget about everything and get far away from the daily routine and city fuss just by walking around the green paths and breathing. It’s majestic!
Hampstead Park is located in North London. You can get there on the Overground (Hampstead Heath Station). It is an enormous, well-tended park. In summer people go there to have a picnic or even for a swim! Due to the limited amount of open swimming pools in London this is a great option during hot summers. There is one bathing pond for both men and women and another pond which is mixed. It is a different, fun experience one must not miss.
This is not exactly the place where you become one with nature, but it comes close to it compared to other London parks. Hampstead Heath looks wild, human interference is kept to the minimum, and I like that. My little escape from the busy city where I can actually hear my thoughts. I feel energized after I come here.
To escape from the city fuss and recharge one should go in Hampstead Heath. It’s the most peaceful place in London. Walking there is like being in the countryside – nothing is man-made, it’s natural. I love it!
