Still no real interest in seeing either of these but they do tell a good story on what our society is interested in off screen as well.
A few days ago, many people were shocked—shocked!—at a pair of new studies that found that many Americans have authoritarian tendencies. They want a strong leader, who can sort out “those” people. This went against everything we had lazily chosen to believe about America! But it’s also pretty apparent if you pay any attention at all to the headlines about police violence and the rise of a certain would-be strongman. And that makes it especially f...

I need to go to Russia..these are amazing.

Russian photographer and urban explorer Ralph Mirebs just published one of the saddest photoseries on space exploration. He managed to get inside an abandoned hangar at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, where two Burans—the prototype space shuttles of the Russian space program—are slowly decaying in their burial crypt.

This makes my inner nerd happy. Also show if there's a will, there's a way.

Old computers were weak, like really weak. They could barely handle code for games, let alone the impressive colors and art desired by advancing video game technology. Engineers needed to get creative with their approach to coding, here's how they beat the data caps.

Voted top pizza shop in Chicago for a reason. Consistently great food & fast service whether eating in or to-go. It has gotten busier since the accolades, but totally worth the wait (if there is one).

Small space, friendly staff. They've gotten busier over the years and good reviews. Personal fav is their larb. If you can handle spicy, their extra spicy will be perfect for you.

Brunch was amazing. One of the best meals of our trip and we ate well. The scone was not your standard scone, instead it flaked and pealed like a croissant. While the sausage & egg sandwich was full of flavor thanks to the oversized patty. The space was lively and had a line out the door by the time we left. So get there early if you don't like to wait.
