The anniversary of beginning my relationship with +Joseph Agee is today. 26 years ago we met in person for the first time. We had chatted on the phone several times before, preparing for my visit, but this was the day that we met. We felt the bond quickly, and continued our long distance relationship for nine  more months until I moved to Minneapolis.

Until about five minutes ago I had spaced that today is our anniversary. Work is crazy, voluteer work is busy, and we are preparing for our trip next week. We will celebrate more than, but for now I just want to declare that I love you, Joe.

I've been a little envious lately watching AT&T's Double Data promotion give increased data limits to the 15gb and higher users. Now AT&T is spreading a little love to us lowly 10gb Mobile Share data users by offering us a chance to upgrade to 15gb. Really easy to upgrade. Just log into your AT&T account and select View or Change Plans. Done.

I hadn't heard about this film until this morning. Neil Blomkamp's feature films (District 9, Elysium, Chappie) each include androids that look similar to "Chappie." Do all of his films exist in a shared universe, or is it just a common design aesthetic?

Looks like Chappie has some big name cast members including Sigourney Weaver, Hugh Jackman, and Dev Patel.

Just learned that the 12th ranking national Scrabble player is the woman who sits behind me in our office. She was out last week at a tournament.

Joe and I have been watching series 5 of Downton Abbey online and so far I have to say that this series is much more enjoyable to watch than series 4.

I'm trying to put together a suggestion to our management to change our computer replacement policy to something more flexible that benefits those of us who find ourselves using our own machines at work because the work comptuers are crap.

Some time in the past I heard of a company who's computer policy  had an allowance of $X per year (or two years) for an employee to purchase computers. $X covered the basic/standard work machine. If the employee wanted something better he or she could spend their own money. The employee then owns the computer after Y months or years.

I've been doing a few Google searches on this, but I haven't found anything like this. Any suggestions or links?
