Nice
We’re excited to announce Tablo now has an Add-On for Kodi which will enable users to access Over-the-Air HDTV content from Tablo from the same interface they use for streaming services and content from their own media libraries.

New Nexus player??
Google and Asus launched one of the first Android TV devices in late 2014. But after a year and a half on the market, last week it looked like the Nexus Player had reached the end of the road: it was no longer available for purchase from the Google Store or most other retailers. But …

I have a Nexus Player now and love it but I wish it was more powerful. I end up watching things on the ps4. I will be keeping a close eye on the Nexus Player 2 and the Mi TV.

+Joel Kaufman Perhaps it may have better response in low WiFi signal areas - they did change their equipment and supports 802.11ac, but this is no factor for me.

This should result in some better performance.  I do notice that on streaming applications such as Netflix, that the quality ramps up slowly, as it did on the PS3 - it finds its groove in short order and it very good in short amount of time.  Comparatively, the Gen2 may be a bit faster getting to full capability, but I'd have to compare side by side and try and eliminate all WiFi differences - so for a Per Room User, the 1st Gen does the job just fine.

Vimeo Adds Chromecast Support

Vimeo, one of +YouTube's largest competitors, is finally adding Chromecast support to their Android app, after openly embracing the idea in its early days. Why this took so long to add is anyone's guess, but this will no doubt please their fans, and is yet another feather in the Chromecast cap.

#Vimeo #Chromecast
After much wait, Vimeo updated its Android app this week, bringing with it… Chromecast support! The last time we discussed Vimeo and Chromecast together was all the way back in mid 2013, but as Vimeo states, “late is better than never.” You see, Vimeo was one of the first companies to openly embrace the idea …

+Alex Castaneda I'm with you, plus seeing that Sony has Android TV built in to there TV's you would think the would push for that. But at least the Sony vue app will have Google cast built it so you can cast it to your Chromecast or your Android TV.
