I usually enjoy this theatre and it feels dirty because it's old but that's not a problem for me. My problem is that the service I received wasn't worth even small amount of money it costs. The ushers were rude and told me I couldn't take my bag into the theatre even though I saw women with much bigger bags going in and the ushers just laughed at me and continued to tell me I couldn't bring it in after I pointed out how small it was. The ushers didn't let us in the movie until three minutes before it started and the only reason they let us in then was because I pointed out how close it was to the start of the movie. There was a perpetual loud buzzing in the theatre that we pointed out and we were told someone would be in to fix it. They never came in so we went to the counter to get our money back. The boy at the counter called the manager who was up stairs but even after hearing we wanted our money back the manager did not bother to talk to us in person. I do not plan on going back considering not even the management cared about their customers.

Awesome! 3 dollar movies, awesome theater atmosphere, not too big of theaters (but not too small either), and free refills on pop and popcorn! Not the latest movies, but not super out-of-date movies either. Awesome, for the price!

What a cool experience! My husband and I saw "Gone Girl" On Valentines Day (yes, you read that right, we hate V-Day). The theater is appropriately dated. Are there flaws? yes. Is it still such a cool building? Absolutely! Are there kids running about? yes. Where would you rather they go? Venues are limited and they are kids. I'd rather had some wacky kids running about over kids stealing shit and spraying graffiti on the building.

Was there 7-30-15 and this place is disgusting. If you get a chance to see it with the lights on it is filthy beyond imagine. Yes it's cheap but it is absolutely filthy.

There is no place left in the area that has movie ticket prices set for around $3. The place isn't like sitting at the latest AMC or Marcus theater with the kicked back seats and bar service, but I grab the kids and see a movie with popcorn for around $20. These days that alone is priceless. Plus the old vintage charm of the place makes it more fun. There is sometimes issues with the sound during the previews but it cuts back into place when the movie starts. I f you're looking to make a good impression on someone or aren't okay with the basics then skip this theater for sure. For me - it's the perfect place to take the kids and for this price - why not let them bring their friends too?! My hope is that this place stays popular enough to keep it's doors open. :)
