Race to the finish line for consumers and the federal government. Which one stands the better chance of a Merry Christmas?

Thanksgiving can be done on the cheap ... if you belong to the right family. We are getting a donated turkey (Mrs. Fay's school), donated side dishes (two sisters who have nothing better to do with their lives), donated drinks (brother who drinks gallons of everything) and donated desserts (Mom who shops and son returning from college who says he can now cook). That means if we put out our donated silverware (leftover from July 4 extravaganza) and donated cups (left over from Super Bowl extravaganza), we can give thanks for something that costs nothing. ... That's why I LOVE Thanksgiving!
