This film is much better, in my opinion, than the reviews it's been getting. (B-, Entertainment Weekly? Really??) My party of four, average age about 60, all thought it was a strong A. Ben Stiller's "only" 48, so still a couple of years away from AARP eligibility, but he's made a film that resonates nicely with older filmgoers. Mark - I liked this film, but couldn't explain why afterwards, except for its aesthetic and adventurous appeal. I'm 30, and my artsy 30s-aged friends liked it, so maybe older fans liked what we did - a movie that wasn't about explosions, but because it looked good in a non-silicone-enhanced way.
