A decent bar in the Sunset. This place is pretty big so you can easily go there with a crowd and have a place to sit. Not sure if it's a sports bar but I normally go there and watch some hockey games. I believe they also let you bring in your own food because there is no kitchen. They also have darts so you can get your drink and dart game on.

Great little bar/saloon. Lots if TVs that always play sports. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. They allow food to be brought in with a ton of local options in the sunset. They also have a jukebox, live DJ and dart boards.

An Inner Sunset favorite! Lots of space, many TVs, darts, free bar snacks, and friendly staff. They have a great selection of beers on tap, and is a great spot for watching your favorite team. This place has a lot of house plants, but it really helps keep the air clean and not as stuffy as other bars. Definitely come check this place out! And make sure you bring your cash, they don't take cards.

I came here for my birthday to drink because I know this place would have tables to accommodate my random group of friends. I was super surprised actually that most of the people on my invite list actually showed up. We took about four tables. Back to the review, the drinks are cheap but require cash only which is why I gave Yancys -1 star. But I do like that this place has lots of tvs, casual, and has darts in the back. Many people at the bar also were playing many different drinking games if you ask. I'll probably come back to play some darts again some day.

There's nothing like a fully carpeted bar. Yancy's is a great old dive bar on 9th and Irving. I wouldn't say it's the liveliest of crowds, but every time I go we have a great time. The place hasn't been updated in a while, but if it ain't broke why fix it!

I came here for a friend's birthday celebration. Great place, but the waitress that was serving our section only paid attention to the males at the tables. I tried ordering twice but she ignored me and got the drinks for my guy friend. I work in a bar and I've worked as a cocktail waitress, best not ignore the girl in the group of guys. My girl friend at another table had the same problem, she had to ask one of the guys to order for her cause the waitress wasn't taking her order. We would have gladly tipped, but it seemed like she didn't want our money. Lots of TVs. But if you're female, you've got to grab your waitress and MAKE her listen to your order (then you'll be the bitch of the night) otherwise get a guy friend to order or head straight to the bar.

A great place to watch a Giants game with a shot and a beer. Relaxing and welcoming. Can also be a good place to drown your sorrows if that’s what you need.

DARTS, plants, space, lots of tv's. Good for groups - there are large tables. It CAN get really crowded - on weekends, or game days. Stake out your claim early if you have a big group. Different crowd depending on the day you come, but usually pretty young in the evening. Bring a pizza from Pasquale's!
