I love how Hannah makes an excellent Beaker (Muppets) impression during the chainsaw chase scene at the beginning.

Gary Oldman as an honorable mention and, more troubling, Patrick Stewart at #7?!!!
He's at least top 3 or it didn't happen.
I mean it. Despite all prevailing evidence to the contrary, your video did. Not. Happen.

TLDR: As a kid, I always thought Donatello was the black Turtle.

I have a feeling the tall shadowy figure is a Utrom (Captured from Roswell? Wouldn't put it past them) in a humanoid suit, and William Fichtner's character is "The Shredder" character. Actually, as an AU, this doesn't sound like a bad idea...

Utrom ship crashes. Mr. Shredder manages to harvest the technology and capture a live alien from which to grow a major tech company, of which Mr. Oneill, a rising star in computer/electrical/biological engineering, becomes an employee. He's assigned to study a chemical formula that has mutational properties, when his initial results reveals Shred's plans to use the substance to develop a mutant super-soldier program. Mortified, Mr. O steals what remains of the substance and makes a harrowing escape, dying at the hands of Shred's goons but not before the substance can get tossed down the sewers.

15 years later, Shred's using his covert connections to the Foot terrorist organization to guarantee huge subsidies from the DOD, when his plans are thwarted by what he eventually realizes is the product of the long lost mutagen. Hoping to study and use the creatures as a prototype platform to reproduce the material, he captures three of the Turtles. Raphael rescues a weakened Splinter and the two kick off a hit and rescue operation at one of Shred's remote labs. The mini-war for the mutagen escalates when Shred uses Utrom tech to create an Iron Man-esque battle suit to take down the Turtles once and for all.

#4, not a myth. Loved the trip down gaming culture lane, though. I'd completely forgotten about the PS Tomb Raider Myth.

As infamously bad as SEGA's obsession was with peripherals in the early 90's, I think the general consensus is that the Saturn was the worst of the pioneering company's entries, what with its sudden and unexpected release in September of 95, huge starting price for mainstream consoles at the time, and lack of gaming library. Dreamcast was, unfortunately, too late to save the company from such a disaster.

You gals are awesome for listening to while I play Minecraft :) Keep up the good work!

I was thinking "back when Steven Moffat had a decent script record?", but I'll definitely accept "back when Doctor Who was good." For me, it's about DT being the first doctor to get me to watch Doctor Who, the personality of the characters, and the (at the time) relative novelty of the scripting of the shows.

After so many seasons passed The End of Time, I began to realize it wasn't Matt Smith I had a problem with, it was Steven Moffat. The man is the beige of script writing. He is offensively disrespectful of any canon developed from the RTD era, not to mention science, the only character he ever managed to make interesting was the comic relief, and he's bland and predictable in his stories (when he isn't using macguffins to stopgap bad writing).

On your complaint about the lack of romance options;
Welcome to the life of anyone who isn't a straight male. A romance subplot where my sexual preference is either marginally recognized or not there at all? Gee, as a gay male, I have NO idea what THAT'S like.
Sorry, the wise crack in me had to say it. I still think AJs reviews are great.

+Adam Pankow Understandable, though I'd question that you "face this same challenge every day across a variety of media" because, outside of gaming, it's very "in" now to have homosexual characters and relationships, especially on TV. How well written they are, I can't say. I only know one gay man well and I don't really watch TV.

Personally, I'm very into story and character writing, so details matter. I have no issue with a character like Zevran or Steve Cortez from Mass Effect 3, but do have an issue when they alter a preexisting character like Anders.

Additionally, while I don't remember how it went down, only having played through DA2 once and that several years ago, several people have commented to me on how strange it was handled, which might be what Joe is getting at.

Excellent film. I was a bit disappointed that you didn't mention the infamously as-bad-as-ID4 oversimplification of computer science that was "...it's a Unix system!" when, ESPECIALLY in 1993, no computer operating system, let alone a system designed for use by network administrators, would have a GUI as sophisticated as a StarFox level.

+Brother Malachai That's actually a key if not vital point that's made repeatedly in the book - Hammond threw money at everything assuming it would all work, being new and hi-tech. Then the experts (Grant et al) come in and give their outside views, pointing out errors in their practices that the JP staff just couldn't see. The most glaring is Grant/Malcolm's use of the motion sensor tracking system to prove that there are far more dinosaurs on the island than there should be, showing Wu (a far more prominent character in the novel) that his assertion that they can't breed is wrong.
