If you are in search for fresh, made-from-scratch noodles Chen's Noodle House is the best place to go to! Upon walking in, it's a small noodle house with VERY limited seating. I love that the entrees are displayed over the ordering window. I recommend the Northern Dumpling Soup or the Beef Noodle Soup. All their dishes are heavily spiced and yummy! Pricing per bowl starts at about $7 and can range to $10, but they are worth it! Bowls are filled to capacity with whatever item you order accompanied with a very tasteful broth and fresh noodles! You will get full and not be able to finish what you ordered. On the side table, they offer free oolong tea! I love this place! I'll give 4 out of 5 stars as they didn't offer ice water which is standard. It was in a stand-up jug cooler at room temperature.

Authentic fresh noodle in Austin. Many dishes to try. Do not be mislead by the small size. Lamb BBQ is an excellent appetizer. Convienient place to eat in the Great Hills.

Chen's is definitely a hidden treasure. The decor is charming and cozy, despite the slight unkemptness, but they make wonderfully authentic food. All of the soups are a perfect blend of tasty broth, tender veggies, choice of meat and choice of fresh-shaved noodles, wontons or dumplings. The leek and green onion pancake dishes are a must-haves and you can get an order of 14 dumplings for $8. If you love food, I would make it a destination.

This place is somewhat hidden in the corner of this shopping center, but it is a awesome place to eat. The seating is limited since they only have maybe 10 or so tables in the place since its a pretty small noodle shop. They have a variety of noodles and appetizers but I have yet to try it all. If you want authentic Chinese noodles, this is the place to go.
