Matt Milosevich has been with WLKY since 2004. He grew up in Houston, Texas. His love for the weather began at an early age when Hurricane Alicia struck the Texas Gulf Coast in 1983. Ever since then, he's been hooked.
Matt's focus shifted from hurricanes to tornadoes while in school at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his degree in meteorology. An avid storm chaser, Matt has seen more than a dozen twisters in Tornado Alley. Now he looks forward to putting his knowledge of severe weather to work to keep WLKY viewers safe when severe weather threatens.
Before joining the WLKY Advanced Warning Weather team, Matt worked as the morning meteorologist in Victoria, Texas. While there, his biggest weather event was another hurricane, this time named Claudette, which directly impacted the city in the summer of 2003. Little did he know that 5 years later the remnants of Hurricane Ike would make such an impact across the Ohio Valley.
Outside of forecasting the weather, Matt enjoys watching college sports, snow skiing and spending time with his wife, Kristin, and their dog, Olivia.
