Dorothy “Dotty” Thomsen, age 67, of Covington, KY, passed away on Thursday, September, 22nd. Dorothy was born on February, 14th, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York, and was the daughter of the late Einar and Ruth Thomsen. Dorothy was a retired Data Entry worker at the Long Island Lighting Company. She was a member of Union Presbyterian Church and enjoyed spending time with friends and family and loved collecting anything Disney. Dorothy spent her time crocheting, reading books, and doing puzzles. She is survived by her sister Ruth (Neil) Richman; Nephews: Michael (Georgie) Richman, Erik (Dawnn) Richman, Daniel (Lorie) Richman; and one niece, Beth (Nathan) Fuson; and several great nieces and nephews. Visitation for Dorothy will be held on Saturday, October 1st, form 10 am - 12 noon, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery. Memorial donations may be payable to The Union Presbyterian Church, 10259 US-42, Union KY, 41091.
