David Schlosser is writer, editor, publisher, and strategic communications advisor.  He has earned awards for his fiction, non-fiction, and editing. He earned a broad range of experience on behalf of corporate, public, political, and individual clients by creating and executing successful public affairs initiatives, political campaigns, and public relations efforts across the country and around the world.  He has worked in the computer hardware and software, telecommunications, health care information technology, and utilities and natural resources industries, and has also been an adjunct faculty member in the School of Communication at Northern Arizona University.

In 2006, Schlosser was the Libertarian candidate for U.S. Congress from Arizona’s First Congressional District, and earned the highest number and percentage of votes of all third-party candidates in competitive races in the country in that year. He was also a Libertarian candidate for mayor of Flagstaff, Ariz. in 2008.

Schlosser has been active with Rotary International, Boy Scouts of America, and cultural organizations including the nationally recognized Topeka Civic Theater, community concerts, and The Smithsonian Institution. He graduated from Leadership Greater Topeka in 1997 and the Flagstaff Leadership Program in 2007.

Schlosser graduated from the University of Texas' LBJ School with a Master of Public Affairs degree.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, with a minor in history and a concentration in Asian studies, from Trinity University in San Antonio.

He grew up in Topeka, Kansas, where he was a state-champion competitive speaker and manager for the state-champion basketball team during high school.  He now resides with his wife and their dogs in Davidson, NC.
