I am an associate professor of information technology at South University. Previously, I was the graduate director of the Master's in Interactive Communications at Quinnipiac University. I taught at Indiana University in in the School of Library and Information Studies and the department of Telecommunications from 1992 until 2009. I created and was the director of the MIME program (www.mime.indiana.edu). I teach classes in interactive storytelling, computer game design, 3D modeling, computer animation, citizen media for social change, memory projects and web design. I have consulted with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Agency in many parts of Asia, taught at the Canadian Film Center's new Media Habit@t in Toronto and I’m on the board of the Museum of the Person in Brazil (www.museudapessoa.net). Currently I am particularly interested in what I call 'public interest entertainment'
