The buffet was outstanding. The ingredients were very fresh -- nothing was overcooked and the seasoning was nice. I will drive up there again. The people were super nice too. What a terrific find!

My daughter and I have been seeing Dr. Amiry for three years. He has consistently been an outstanding physician - kind, caring, thoughtful, competent. He always has taken time with us to address all our concerns, whether it has to do with the appt we have or something completely unrelated. What I like most about Dr. Amiry is that he takes a holistic view of us as patients and considers our body chemistry and ways that we can improve that through vitamin and mineral supplements - the kind that can be obtained anywhere, not a line he's pushing from his office. We moved 50 miles away from Reston to another city. I tried two other dermatologists and they didn't impress me or do a particular procedure correctly at all. After 11 months, I have returned to Dr. Amiry's practice and am very glad that I did.

I called the Vacuum Store to obtain a part for my Miele canister vacuum. They had it in stock and were super speedy and nice about the entire transaction. They even gave me one on loan just to make sure it was the right part, at no charge. This is not "everyday" service. These people are professional, friendly, and courteous. I wouldn't go anywhere else now!

Words cannot describe how disappointed I am with my transaction with this company and the disingenuous manner in which they treated me as a customer. ***Note: this company reconsidered my issue and refunded half of my money. Prior to placing my order, I chatted online and spoke with customer service about the many questions I had about my blind order. I placed my order in good faith that they would honor the one-day shipping guarantee. Nowhere on the on-line order form is it stated that using Amazon to pay for the transaction nullifies that guarantee. In fact, any decent software should have bounced the transaction if the two conditions were true -- that's basic web design, not to mention honest business practices. I called in last Friday and was informed by one of the customer service representatives that I would be refunded the amount of my purchase because the blinds were at that point five days late. Yesterday, I received an email notifying me that payment using Amazon nullified that guarantee and I would receive no refund. Now, I had workmen in my house three days after the blinds were supposed to be delivered and there was nothing for them to do, so I went out of pocket on labor and installation. This is Steve's fault. I spoke on three occasions with customer service representatives and was told that 1) the first customer service rep was wrong and it was too bad for me 2) that the website does have a disclaimer on it even thought it appears nowhere in the purchase string to checkout and I know I didn't sign a EULA, and 3) I could not return the blinds for a refund because all sales are final. In other words, Steve's was fundamentally dishonest and accepted no accountability whatsoever for the company's actions. Just now, I spoke with the third representative. She was able to guide me to the disclaimer on the website. It is deeply buried and nowhere near the sales page or the path leading through to checkout. This disclaimer contradicts the very purchase confirmation Steve's sent me by email, which indicated that I had been extended the one-day guarantee and lists the transaction code. So, if at that point Steve's wasn't going to honor the guarantee, why did they put it in writing that they would? They continued to misrepresent their services and even in written correspondence. I've spoken with the Maryland States Attorneys General about the transaction and will be filing a formal, written complaint. If the company were willing to take responsibility for this seres of mistakes (bad software, occlusion of fact in the checkout process, customer service screw up), I wouldn't need to go to such extremes. But if I don't bother to file a complaint, others like me will be similarly ripped off. I am horrified and amazed that any U.S. company would so blatantly misrepresent itself. Sad for this country.

I would never hire anyone else for painting or general contracting. James Guth is an honest man who makes sure his company's jobs are done correctly. I had exterior painting done initially a few months ago. Later I needed some carpentry work -- a new awning -- and also a french drain and some minor handyman stuff. The work crew did a great job. When I had questions, James took them personally and made sure that I was happy. He didn't really have to do all that, but he took an interest in the successful sale of my house and made sure I got to settlement without any problems. His fees were very reasonable. One of my closest friend's husband is a carpenter, but he works only for his wife. His comment about James was, "Congratulations, you've found a craftsman who knows how to do absolutely everything."
