I tried the Jet Lev - Here at the resort, Super Fun! I booked the night before it was $199 for the Jet, it took about 5min to jet ski out to the boat where we quickly go started on what the Jetpack was and how it worked, He hooked me up and i was off, we started very low to the water and slowly work up to the cool stuff, live dolphin dives, Speeding superman style and going 30Ft in the Air which was a bit scary! Something you must try once in your life if you are someone who always wanted your own Jet Pack! Great Staff they make all the difference!

Stayed here last week. Had the cheapest room they offered. We had no view, but it was not a big deal since we didn't spend much time in the room. The room was clean and it had a nice king bed and in general was better than most hotel beds. The bathroom was small and has a low ceiling, but the shower was a decent size. The resort is very clean and well maintained. I always saw employees cleaning things all over the place. For the most part, the resort is easy to navigate. They had a convention going on for two days and they were using one of the banquet halls. That forced us to take a detour to our building, but they had employees directing us where to go. We ate at most of the restaurants on site and they were good. We especially loved Saltys Tiki Bar! They had live music and it was a great atmosphere. Blackbeards Bar had karaoke on Monday night, so that was entertaining. The beach was nice and clean. Plenty of cabanas available without the need of reserving one. We even had family come visit and after talking with one of the employees, he hooked us up with another cabana without charging us. This resort is also kid friendly as they had numerous places and activities for kids to participate in. Didn't spend any time at the pool, but they did say they are heated and look cleaned for the most part. As for the other reviews saying they had stuff stolen and what not, they offer free digital safes in the room. You make the combination upon locking the safe. Common sense tells you to use it if it is available. Check in process was easy as well. Took less than 5 minutes for it all. Same for check out process. My only complaint was prices for drinks (alcoholic) and food were a little pricy and seemed a little inflated, but it's vacation. So just enjoy it! I would recommend this resort for a couple or even a family and I would stay here again.

We do weddings at The Tradewinds, and it is one of the best places on St Pete Beach for video and photos due to all the neat areas on property, such as little rivers, swanns, gazebos, little bridges, which is great when it might be too bright for the beach, plenty of other areas in shade to get unique wedding pictures and video.

I had an excellent stay at this beautiful resort and just an all around great time. I booked it last minute for the end of Valentine's day weekend. Got 2 nights in a suite in the Breckenridge building with a gorgeous view of the Gulf and great weather. We live local, but it's so nice to have a little beach get-away. We hung out at the pool and the beach all weekend. Ate at most of the restaurants and didn't need to use cash because all we had to carry was our room key. Service was exceptional. The Front desk check in was easy and quick and nice. We took the paddle boats through out the property and walked and checked everything out our first day. Had drinks at the Tiki Hut and they had a great guy playing guitar and singing. Went to the Deli and at on the beach. Had an espresso at the lobby bar. The whole resort was well maintained and all the staff was friendly. They have everything you could ask for on site, plus another resort 3 places down the beach, the Guy Harvey Resort. Couldn't ask for a better weekend, view from our balcony, and all around service. Highly recommend to locals or people on vacation.

First time I vacationed here May 2010, My brothers wedding. We celebrated with 150 guests, we had a wonderful time. My brother vacations here every May for years. In 2012 his wives engagement and wedding rings were stolen from there room. The maid was fired, but the hotel itself has done nothing. I would never come back to here for this reason. We do come back to St Petes but would never stay at the Trade Winds again. On the same week there was a expensive watch was also stolen from another guest, ( according to the local police reports).

Omg! This was the best place ever! I had my nine birthday there and it was by far amazing! The hotel service is a five star, the slide was amazing by the beach! The only problem was that the bell man /door man was a real jerk! But I ended up forgetting about it! The hotel looks like it is for the queen or something. And trust me if you have a normal brain unlike some people that commented, you will have the best time of your entire life! Also if there was a Niger and better rating I would always pick the biggest rating because this place is awesome! The st.peat beach and hotel resort is pure heven! And I wish I could of stayed longer. Words are not describable! If I were you I would start paking now! Lol. Basically the st.peat beach and hotel was the best place ever, so if you and your family are looking for an awesome vacation, I highly recemend this place! It is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth the money
