Beaulieu Motor Museum attraction will not be open Thursday 10th September due to the funeral for Edward, Lord Montagu in the abbey.

The New Forest Tour Green Route will therefore not be servicing this stop, and passengers will not be able to visit the attraction.

Our Blue Route takes in the coastal south west of the New Forest, it also stops at Milford-on-Sea.

Milford-on-Sea has a bustling high street, traditional village green and dramatic sandstone cliffs with views of the Needles. There are shingle beaches for swimming as well as seafront cafes and coastal walks. Children will love to fish for crabs off the bridge at Sturt Pond!

‪‎Did You Know:‬ When Henry VIII broke with Rome and established the Church of England, the New Forest’s Beaulieu Abbey was almost entirely demolished in order to build castles and fortifications to protect the area, in its strategic South Coast location, from French or Spanish invasion?

At this time (1537), too, the new Order and Rules of the New Forest were introduced for dealing with forest law and those who broke it. Their court at Lyndhurst is open to the public today.

Our Green Route stops at Beaulieu and Lyndhurst! You can learn more about the route at http://bit.ly/1udlVlo
