The food is amazing! At first, it was a little overwhelming for the kids, and LOUD, but it grows on you quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The ordering process was rather daunting, but WOW the food is top notch! Best gluten free pizza ever, and fast! Do not be fooled by the crowd (the sign by the ordering line is right) there will be an empty seat when you get through the line. Two regular pizzas and one gluten free plus 5 drinks and a full size salad = $50! Outstanding value! I will recommend to all of my friends!

Fast food pizza that isn't fast food. They have a wood oven to cook the pizzas in and it gives it that thin crust that crisp and chewy texture. Basically it's the Subway of pizzas, your pizza gets build as you go and you can add or omit ingredients as you wish. It's newish and during the prime lunch rush there can be a 20-30 person line. Good pizza, if you like the wood oven neapolitan pizza. I will put it on my rotation when I'm out in Westwood, well this and my favorite still La Monica's.

800 Degrees is hands down my favorite pizza place. I love watching them build my pizza and the delicious spicy sauce they have. They have great ingredients and their pizzas are simply on spot. Great ambiance overall too! casual but also nice at the same time. great to hang out with friends or go on a date. another + they're open late for all those drunchies :P only complaint I have is that their service is spotty. sometimes super fast and good, other times a little slow...

Great pizza with unique toppings. Fast service in a modern and chic restaurant. Parking can be hard to find on a busy Friday night.

I've been a fan of this place for quite some time now. Living only a block away, I've eaten here several times now. There's usually a line, but it moves really quickly. There are several tables inside the restaurant and a couple outside. Saving seats isn't allowed because by the time you make it through the line, there are empty seats available. This place is a build-your-own pizza type of place. After coming here so many times, I have figured out my favorite combination. I get the margarita pizza with sausage, caramelized onions, and sun dried tomatoes. I sometimes get a side of meatballs or the prosciutto melon burrata depending on my mood. The side of meatballs comes with of their huge meatballs covered in there margarita sauce they use for the pizzas. This extra sauce goes great with the crust from your pizza. The prosciutto melon burrata is so deliciously refreshing. The burrata comes with arugula, fresh mozzarella, melon balls, and freshly sliced prosciutto. Even though this burrata cost as much as a pizza, it's really worth the price, especially since they don't skimp out of the amount of prosciutto. I think many people dislike this place because they already have an idea of what pizza is supposed to be like. People come here expecting pizza that we can get from Papa Johns or Dominos and are disappointed when they realize that the pizza from here is nothing like that. 800 Degrees even has a sign that says they make their pizzas the way it was invented in Naples, Italy, which has a soft, chewy crust. If you come here with an open mind about pizza, then I'm sure that you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

When the chipotle “build-your-own” model and gourmet pizza meet, beautiful things happen! This place makes delicious, quality, artisan pizzas convenient, fast, and easy on the wallet. The dough is hand tossed right in front of you and made with imported Italian flour. You select which type of base you want: tomato sauce, pesto, or just olive oil; they add fresh garlic and oregano to the base and fresh mozzarella, then you select whatever toppings you want to add on. Each add on is about $1 so the price of the pizza is going to depend on how simple or complex you make your pizza :-). They have all the works like great imported Italian meats, roasted veggies, artisan cheeses, chicken, shrimp, peppers. The pizza is then cooked in an 800 degree wood fire oven. They also have already designed pizza if you aren’t sure which flavors go well together or want to have to think about it. My favorite thing to get is the pesto sauce with roasted broccolini, shrimp or chicken and bacon. They also have a small gelato selection with about five different flavors. This place has some of the best tasting pizza I’ve had in LA (if you design it right). Crust is always a big deal with pizza lovers and I can attest that this crust is yummy. This on the button but with substantial bubbly and chewy crust.

This is a pizza place from the same guy who created Umami Burger. Is the pizza amazing? Yes, when I entered I didn't really know what to expect it has a very choose your own toppings vibe all the meat costs extra there's a few basic topping pizzas and you add stuff on top of it. My pizza was around 10 bucks for a Margharita with Pepperoni and Mushrooms on top of it. The service was really fast, as soon as I was done ordering toppings it was wisked off to the wood fire type oven and out a minute or two later. Water was out for the pouring you didn't have to ask for them to get it for you. What sets this apart from other places well folks I sorta think I'm a pizza expert as I've tried a lot of other places it's 3 things 1.The crust has that fresh sour dough kinda tang 2.The sauce has that tangy tomato taste and 3.The meats and toppings add a 3rd taste so you get that perfect trifecta of great pizza. It has that Umami burger vibe in the end you will either love it or hate it, I wish they had pizza by the slice pre-made, I don't really understand why they don't. There isn't much on display other than the toppings and the gelato. They have one of those fancy soda machines that makes every flavor of soda. The chili that I asked for was this amazing hot oily paste and the parmesan looked fresh. When I was leaving I overheard two chicks walking by calling it the Subway of pizza, I don't agree it's more like the Umami Burger of Pizza. It's memorable and worth a visit if you don't mind spending 10 dollars for a personal pizza (If you add topping like I did).

We are taking it WAY back! Check out our new special the "Mastunicola" made with Lardo, Basil, Black Pepper and Pecorino Cheese. Before Italians fell in love with tomatoes, they were already eating pizza. This is one of the oldest known recipes for pizza dating back several hundred years.

Our Lardo (cured pork back fat, like prosciutto but without the meaty part) comes from Spain where the pigs are fed acorns to give a delicate sweetness to the fat. Enjoy!
