Fascinating turn of events in the SPL. I have to believe some of this is spurred by Rangers' weakness. Very different story currently than the failed insurrection in La Liga.

If nothing else, this exposes the shallowness of the sectarianism that emanates from the boards of Celtic and Rangers. They know that the Old Firm rivalry is why they draw 60k fans and Hearts and Hibs draw 15k. Express utter hatred for each other, until it goes to the halls of the SPL, where they march in lockstep with each other.
DUNFERMLINE chairman John Yorkston has claimed that the ten non-Old Firm clubs could resign from the Scottish Premier League if Celtic and Rangers go ahead with their intention to block voting reform....

Wow--it's amazing that the non-Old Firm clubs have tolerated this arrangement for so long. Hope they man up and resign from the SPL.
