For anyone in the Austin area - if you don't know about Dyer Dairy in Georgetown - you ought to check it out.  The best milk I ever had (and my family hails from dairy farmers) and we have never been healthier since finding this source for delicious, fresh, raw milk.  We've been happy customers for at least 4 or 5 years now.  We get our farm eggs, fresh veggies and grass fed beef there too, as well as many other products from local farms.

Jake made this today, inspired by Men In Black 3 which we just saw last Friday night.  From left to right you have "J" (Will Smith), "K" (Tommy Lee Jones), an Alien, who is holding his "human mask" in his hand, and I forget who the 4th character is supposed to be.  I think they are in some kind of lab like where the MIBs work.  Jake was very proud of this and wanted me to put it on "the internet" for the whole world to see.

Help Bastrop State Park get some $$$. We've had some really good times there among the "lost pines"....I haven't been there yet since last year's fire. Let's throw some votes their way. Heck, I'll even drink a coke for it, despite my objection to HFCS. :)

Everbody who knows me, knows I am a real late-comer and pretty much a reluctant user of social networks. I am the kind of person who needs to read directions and understand what I'm doing before I stick my toe in the water so-to-speak. I'm pretty much the opposite of my hubby who just "cannon-balls" in to whatever interests him.
Not, being a "native" of the "digital generation", I've been really struggling to keep up with the new technology, the new ways of doing things, the new way people are communicating, and the new way people think. The saying "my life is an open book" has taken on a whole new meaning now as we invite our friends and barely known acquaintances and complete strangers into moments of our daily existence. I finally joined G+ because I liked the concepts of circles. I understand it. But I did finally quit trying to read all the directions of how to use this site. I will have to learn as I go along from here on out. I am even going to make an occasional "public post". :)

If I do this right and actually share a link, then you will see an article that blows my mind about how the world is changing and things we must do to keep up. History books are changing too, they probably won't even be printed on paper anymore and apparently everyone will be in them! Fascinating....
