We absolutely LOVE your BBQ! The best we have found and we spent 10+ years in Texas. We were always looking for some place to get our BBQ fix and we are so happy that we have your restaurant for that fix. Everytime we pass your exit on the Kennedy I tell my husband; hay, let's go to Smoque!!

I only have one gripe but this place. I wish they had greens. The whole part about Smoque is that is BYOB. The BBQ here is pretty good. The prices are incredibly reasonable and you can escape only paying about $15/person. We ended up trying a little bit of everything with my visit here. -The pulled pork was just but average. Nothing spectacular or work complaining about. -The ribs were tasty. Tender but not facing apart. A nice bite. Excellent dry rub and you don't even need the sauce. -The brisket was melt in your mouth tender and probably one of the best things we had there. -The Mac and cheese was good but slightly to creamy for my taste. -The baked beans were slightly sweet and had a meaty taste throughout. -The chili was one of my favorite sides but could have been a little spicier. Overall it was a pretty good experience and I would go back.

I loved the St. Louis style ribs, bottled sodas, crunchy topping on the Mac and cheese, pecan bread pudding, and their organized service. The place smells amazing, too!

Great food nicely priced. At first the portion seems small but it fills you up.

The brisket just falls apart in your mouth, which is a feat in itself. Pulled pork is tasty. Ribs are fall-off-the-bone succulent. Mac and cheese is effing awesome. I think the hype made me slightly less impressed than I should have with Smoque the first time, but subsequent visits have solidified it as top notch. BYOB! Atmosphere is casual and unassuming.

Saw this place featured on 'Diners, Drive-In's & Dives' years ago, and has since been on my restaurant bucket list. I finally got the opportunity to visit on a recent drive through Chicago for business. It exceeded my expectations. The most tender slices of Brisket I've ever had, pulled pork was perfect, the baked beans were beautiful, they seemed to be made from scratch. Coleslaw was lovely, fresh and simple, in a light dressing as it should be. I also had some fries which reminded me of a less greasy version of Five Guys fries. Good value for money too considering the quality. I will definitely be back when I get a chance.

Great food, great location. The only problem I've ever had is long lines, which can sometimes reach out of the restaurant and down the block, but that can hardly be helped. Good place overall.

Awesome BBQ--love their brisket and pulled pork. Try both the Lousiana and Texan style sauces. Get the cornbread or mac n' cheese on the side. Their chili is awesome too! Can't go wrong--there may be a line out the door, but you'll know why, and it moves pretty fast.
