There are awesome resources there for sure!  But I'm having trouble with a fundraising issue for my rookie team 8477, Rohming Robots.  We are a homeschool team and are trying to figure out how to get 501 (c) 3 status without registering for it this season. We have tried to find a 501 (c) 3 to partner with, but they've never done anything like that. Is there information on that process available anywhere so we can help them feel comfortable about it? Or does anyone know if a homeschool team without a brick and mortar school can sign up with the parent booster organization? They seem to require school information.  Thanks if you can help!

Space tourism is here! One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. How many of our FTC engineers want to work in aerospace engineering?

#WCW who's your favorite woman role model in #STEM?

Roslind Franklin, though I've always felt so sorry her DNA co-founders snubbed her they way they did. It's nice to see her getting her due respect after all these years. She was an amazing scientist, and her discovery of the double helix structure in DNA has spurred many scientific discoveries.

Introduction

The FIRST Tech Challenge is more than a high school robotics program.  It is a community focused on building a better world for tomorrow by engaging high school students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

FTC is about teaching students the value of hard work, innovation and creativity.  It goes beyond competition by teaching teenagers the importance of working together, sharing ideas and treating each other with respect and dignity.
