"Some of the most successful startups in the world started with an MVP that used only existing platforms like email or SMS.
It's worth thinking hard about how you can use existing platforms to create the first version of your product in days." - David Katz & Eytan Levit @ +Campus Tel Aviv  #Campusformoms

Every Monday evening we are happy to host +הסדנא לידע ציבורי - the Public Knowledge Workshop, which is a non-profit, non-partisan organisation. Its mission is to allow the public to engage more meaningfully with Israeli #government and public interest data by making it more accessible to the public.
Read about their amazing project in collaboration with +Wikimedia Israel -- "Open Book of Laws", a website that shares the updated and combined text of the #Israeli laws and regulations >

Is +ironSource  the only unicorn in Israel?

“People have been reading that we are the only #unicorn in Israel,” Bar-Zeev says. “In some cases, like ours, it’s based on real facts. In others, it’s a subjective valuation of a private company. To me it’s just a number.
When ironSource eventually goes public, it will have to make extra room at the podium for all its founders. The five-year-old Israeli startup already counts eight founders when you included those acquired into the company in past years. As a group, they still own three-quarters of the tech company valued at more than $1 billion. By [...]

Congrats to #VeedMe that  is included in this great piece by +Inc Magazine

"I asked the founders for a pointer they would give artists who dream of becoming entrepreneurs: "Launching a startup doesn't require you to be a developer or even tech savvy at all. It means starting up anything from scratch to fruition, with a lot of motivation."
Being an artist doesn't mean you're far from being an entrepreneur.

"Improv is unconventional “training” designed to build a #team that can own the ambiguity, frenetic pace, interpersonal challenges and harsh feedback of #startup life."
Four years ago, I participated in my first improv comedy class. In 2013, Mahmoud Arram and I co-founded Bluecore, a marketing technology company whereevery..

+Campus London is a part of London's Fashion week!

“It’s fascinating to see how many #fashion #technology propositions are emerging right now”, says Marina Atarova, Co-founder of Dreamstake, a platform that provides mentoring and networking workshops to #startups, and runs a regular Fash Tech event at #Google #Campus"
London fashion Week began last Friday and will attract over 5,000 visitors; mostly buyers, journalists, photographers and TV and radio crews. But perhaps this year we can expect to see a less familiar type of attendee; scientists and tech geeks? The fashion industry is often, unfairly in my view, seen as [...]
