Sorry everyone... it's canceled

Fraser's internet is totally shot and Scott contracted space plague at Yuri's night, so we'll have to cancel this week.

We've embedded the video that +Scott Lewis made for +Space Fan News! on +Yuri's Night featuring Astronaut +Ron Garan

Scott Lewis, hope your space plague goes away and the alien nestled in your chest cavity turns out to be nice.

Sorry folks, nasty springtime weather for most of our astronomers, as well as technical issues. Need to cancel again.

+Silvan Wespi It's not just that it would be fun for us to get NdGT as a guest on the VSP even once (which of course it would be), but also that it would be fun for him. Science outreach is what he does and I bet that he would love the VSP.

*THIS WEEK'S EPISODE IS CANCELLED*

Unfortunately due to poor weather for the majority of our astronomers, we'll be unable to have the show.

We've embedded last week's episode into the event page in case you weren't able to see it live and as always encourage you to put your own astrophotography into the event page so that we can feature it in next week's episode.

Thank you all for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you  next week!

I don't start watching (on the DVR) until 15 minutes in. That way I can skip through the commercials.

+Ronald Minch That's the plan! We've reached out to the phenomenal astronomers from +Virtual Star Party and are hoping for a good show as long as no tech hiccups happen.

Introduction
This is the official page for the Virtual Star Party - a weekly live Google+ Hangout. We connect live telescopes into a Google+ Hangout and explain the science behind the live images.

If you don't have the gear, or bad weather, join us right here on Google+.

We're always looking for new astronomers to help showcase the sky. Email +Fraser Cain at info@universetoday.com or +Scott Lewis at scott@knowthecosmos.com if you'd like to participate.
