this story is all wet!
On May 6th & 7th 2015 Southeast Nebraska had torrential rains.
Salt Creek had record levels not seen since 1908. There was
residential flooding in the "South Bottoms" in Lincoln Nebraska.
While the flooding did some damage, The Antelope Valley Project demonstrated its multi-use elements as  trails and watershed.
Bikes and walkers were limited as many of the trails along Antelope Creek  were underwater. Kayakers, Canoeists, and Paddle-boarders replaced walking or riding users. This is my visual report of Antelope trail including Rock Island trail  Mopac trail & Union Plaza, during the aftermath as the flood waters remained for flood water fun. An  interesting dichotomy in Lincoln, Nebraska on the Antelope Creek trails.
