Has anyone tried Michelob Ultra Light Cider?  I had the chance to taste this new drink, and it was actually pretty good!  Definitely refreshing - it is HAWT in Georgia these days.  This light cider has a hint of green apple, which makes me want to try to make some green apple margaritas using it.  Read more about it here.

#WeekendSweets - I love alfajores (almond sandwich cookies with dulce de leche filling sprinkled with coconut flakes) and I also love cake doughnuts.  So, what happens when alfajores marry cake doughnuts?  They have Alfajores Cake Doughnut babies!  Check out my new recipe on T's Tasty Bits!  You won't be able to eat just one...

Semana Santa (Easter) in Ecuador is when this Fanesca is traditionally consumed. This hearty Ecuadorian Easter Soup is so healthy, and I think it could well be made any time of the year. Enjoy!

New recipe on T's Tasty Bits! It is delicious!

Grocery shopping on an empty stomach is never a good thing... Unless this is the outcome of hunger: Butternut Squash and Turkey Lasagna. If the acidity of the tomatoes in the marinara sauce keeps you from enjoying a lasagna, give this one a try!

My most recent Ecuadorian stew recipe - Seco de Borrego, also known as Ecuadorian lamb stew. For this version, I used a crock pot and it turned out fantastic! Let the crock pot do its thing and walk away!

Hola amigos! I had forgotten to share my most recent concoction, inspired by the ubiquitous Cuban Rabo Encendido. I named my dish Refrito-stewed Oxtail with Grits. Because I live in Georgia now, y'all and I am in love with grits! Buen provecho!

Tasty Ecuadorian Recipes, Latin American Cuisine and other bits
Introduction
T's Tasty Bits is a food and cooking blog dedicated to Ecuadorian and Latin American cuisine. I make and recreate the delicious meals I used to eat growing up in Ecuador. Each recipe contains a step-by-step pictorial guide plus a printable recipe.

This blog also has its version in Spanish, where I translate my recipes for my Spanish speaking readers. It is a labor of love, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
