My husband and I ate lunch here today. The restaurant was clean and bright. They have soups salads and sandwiches. The food is fresh and they mix the salads to order. We both particularly enjoyed the soup. I had tomato basil and he had chicken tortilla.

Every time I visit this particular Doc Greens the quality of food continues to get worse and worse. They continue to remove quality ingredients from their menu and substitute them for cheaper options. Does the price change to reflect these substitutions, no. Most salad/sandwich restaurants in the area serve bread with their meals, and usually the bread ranges from good to great. What does this Doc Greens give you, a piece of white bread. Not just any piece of white bread, a clearly generic, from the supermarket shelf, piece of white bread. How this Doc Greens can call themselves gourmet is beyond me when only their prices reflect a gourmet restaurant. The worst part, considering this is a "salad place", is the fact their their lettuce looks like it's been sitting out for a couple days. If you enjoy rubbery, flat lettuce then maybe you'll actually derive some taste from their salads. I was under the impression that lettuce had a crunch and didn't taste slimy. In conclusion, this place is horrible, and until they get some new management that care about the customer I'd avoid it entirely.

This place is very popular during lunch, so the line may become really long. If you go before 11:30 or after 1:30, you only have to wait around 5 minutes. However, the reason I am giving a 5 is that the choices of salad and healthy options offered by this place compared to other near-by restaurants outweigh the wait in line. If you are in the mood for healthy food, then you really have to try this place.

This Doc Green location is not as good as the Cobb Parkway location. I requested (today), ceaser salad/salmon/wrap, toasted, light on cheese and crumbs. I can't taste any cheese, any ceasar dressing and the lettuce is iceburg. The sandwich is also cold. This is the second time, I've asked for a toasted sandwich and its cold or barely warm. The salmon is also over cook. The meat has a funny smell as though the grill wasn't clean.

My first visit ever to any Doc Greens was highly disappointing. It took 15-20 minutes to get my salmon panini because I had to wait for my side to be prepared. Honestly I wished I'd been given the opportunity to order a different side and leave with my sandwich earlier, because the parmesan "encrusted" mushrooms were thoroughly disgusting. Very disappointing after having had a variety of "parmesan encrusted" entrees at home and at restaurants; these were nothing but sauteed mushrooms with parmesan cheese melted over them. The panini was also highly disappointing, flat and unappetizing looking: they are much better at Little Azio.

To call it gourmet foods is an understatement. There was canned meat on my panini. Check out fresh to order at Cumberland mall for a healthier "gourmet" option.
