METHODOLOGY: In this new analysis, we queried Buzzsumo’s data tool for influential marketers. The list comes from a metasearch that returned 11,000 influencers, ranked by an algorithm that includes 16 different influence metrics including retweets, Twitter lists, Google PageRank, Moz’s website domain authority and page authority and more. However, for this list, we simply sorted the most retweeted marketers from the top down. We eliminated companies and magazines, choosing to focus on individuals only.
