This is mostly a review of the brewery as an event venue. I was here for a wedding last weekend and enjoyed the space, the staff, and the beer. The brewery is in an industrial lot in Glendale. The public space is quite large, the wedding crew had to walk through several rows of tables to get to the private space. The private venue was similarly large - one big room for the ceremony and dancing, a room for serving food and two for guests to eat (not to mention an outdoor space as well). It got a bit hot, but the staff was quick to bring in fans and open doors. The beer was delicious, I tried a few and was partial to their Imperial IPA, but I generally enjoyed everything I tried. The staff, as I mentioned above, were helpful and courteous. I'd definitely consider this as an event venue space if I was planning something in the area.

This was, hands down, the best brewpub I have ever been to. Granted, I'm from Canada where the most brewers are not afforded a level of flexibility and creativity that they are in LA. But really, Golden Road has everything. An incredible selection of beers, an awesome outdoor area for kids to hang out, live music, and an awesome menu. We went twice during our trip to properly sample everything. Highlights for me included the Berliner Weiss, their seasonal Gose, and the fried avocado tacos. They also have pretty damn good pretzels. Can't go wrong with this place. Bright, airy, and friendly. Great service.

This place was horrible worst experience ive had at any pub/bar. Our waitress was no where to be seen for hours we had to keep going to the bar ourselves. Then they charged my card twice. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This spot is a bit difficult to find - you aren't going to run across it randomly, but it is worth the trip across the tracks. I've only been here a few times, always in the afternoon with friends, and I have always had a good time. They have excellent beer, and the informal, relaxed atmosphere just makes it great. Friendly service and a friendly crowd. The fact that they welcome kids, and there frequently are families here, gives it a welcoming vibe. It is nice to just sit here, take a deep breath, and enjoy the company of the people you're with over a few beers and maybe a pretzel or two. I like sitting outside on the big covered porch. Check it out.

The beer here was great. The food was disappointing but I'll give them a better than average rating because the facility was good too. Using my past experiences of living Portland, OR, the brew pubs there offer much better food than this place but the beer was definite up to par. The turkey burger I got was okay but the bottom bun was sent to me totally soaked and ruined the burger.

Okay... 4+stars for their beer, and their service. My main issue is the limited flights, and the lack of half-pint/tasters. They only had an IPA flight and a catch-all of a lager, an ipa from the ipaflight, a hefe and a brown, and the bartender said we couldn't get anything less than 12/16oz for the other 6(?) GRB beers they had tap. Maybe they just don't want that many little glasses out there? It was pretty packed when we were there, but it was a Sat night. Tasters bring in more cash than serving 12/16oz pours, and it makes for better educated customers about the products you are pouring. In the case of the beers only coming from cans, I get why you wouldn't want to pour tasters there. Though... at the same time, I can't help but wonder why you serving from cans. I understand turning to cans if the kegs ran dry, but that's not what this looked like.

Really good sandwiches and beer in a fun (& kid friendly) environment! Win win for everyone!
