So I just want to allay everyone's outright negative stance on Assassins Creed: Unity, I have been playing it since release day on a PS4 and so far I have witnessed two glitches, in 45% of the game that I've played so far....when I played AC:3 it took about 20 mins each time for the game to read on the xbox and then almost every mission had some issue wrong with it, seems like AC:U is definitely a step forward! Touch wood I may just be lucky, but I really don't think the game, and ubisoft, deserve as much hatred as it's getting!

Frankly I think it redefines the entire series, intense storyline mission are combined with repeatable and relatively freeform co-op mission (that can be played and completed solo) both set in an amazing historical period! The city of Paris itself is completely alive and every corner of every street has something unique and interesting going on.  There is an almost endless amount of side mission that allow you to improve weapons and equipment or just discover more of Paris' 18th century history.

The most important things to come from this game is the remastered combat and stealth system, assassins can now actually stealth around and assassinate unlike the previous games where a few stealth kills were followed inevitably by taking on an entire garrison in combat.  Plus there are dozens and dozens of gear and weapon combos, you can choose by look or by effect and completely tailor your assassins look and playing style!

I could honestly spend all day just running along the rooftops and streets of Paris the game is that beautiful! And I doubt I'd see a single one of these big bad bugs and glitches the internet is raving about!  The storyline may not be as swashbuckling and fantastical as Ac:Black Flag, but it tells a truly personal and inspirational tale within the greater (epic? awful? you choose) story of the French Revolution...and of course Assassins!!
