You might've noticed some improvements to Hapara Dashboard recently, including the introduction of a Help Widget in the Hapara suite.

Well we didn't want to leave out Hapara Admins so we've also made improvements to the Data Loader.

Have a read and comment here if you have any questions or feedback. You can find release notes on all improvements here: https://support.hapara.com/hc/en-us/categories/200107797-Release-Notes

Assessment feature added to Workspace: Teachers can now add an assessment to evidence in Workspace, on the card itself as well as in the Activity Summary or Individual Activity pages. This can be numbers or text (for example: 80/100, Good, 70%) and will show to a learner when the evidence has been returned.

Also, teachers can now return all documents to learners at once rather than needing to do so 10 documents at a time. This can be done from a card or from the Activity Summary page.

Teacher’s Workspaces are now grouped by class in the same way that Learner’s Workspaces are. Note that there is an “Other” section which contains any Workspaces that don’t yet have a class assigned as well as any Workspaces in which the teacher is also a learner.

Workspaces can now be used with learners, teachers, or a mixture of both.

If you’d like to use a Workspace for professional development or with PLGs, create a Workspace as usual, then go to the Groups page and enter the email addresses of the teachers you’d like to add to the Workspace (you can enter multiple, separated by commas, semicolons, or line breaks).

When you’ve entered the teacher addresses, click the “Add” button. They will then appear in the list above under “Added”. From here, drag and drop the teachers into the groups you want.

Teachers will be able to see this Workspace, and complete work as though they were a learner. Please note that you cannot be both a teacher/co-teacher and a learner on the same Workspace.

New in Workspaces - Search Workspaces: a keyword search that will pull up results from the Workspace title/description as well as on any cards and in any group name. Teachers will be able to easily find not only their own Workspaces but also those shared publicly by teachers around the World.

When using Hapara Highlights, if a teacher cannot see a learner's tabs or screen, ask the learner to locate the Hapara icon to the right of the url on the learner's device. If it is not there, then the extension is not installed.
If it is there, but the learner cannot be seen, ask the learner to click on the icon. This will start a script which will repair the extension, and the learner should become visible.

Teachers can now embed Hapara Workspaces into Google Sites.

You’ll see an embed icon alongside the G+ and Twitter sharing icons which when clicked will show you the embed link. Copy this link to inset the Workspace into your Google Site. Use the 'Add gadget by URL' option.
