This is the first of its kind, a one day conference, led by Karma Nirvana, the UK leaders within the field of forced marriages and honour based violence, supporting men and women nationally.

The Serious Crime Act 2015 created a new offence of controlling or coercive behaviour in intimate or familial relationships. This offence closed a gap in the law around patterns of controlling or coercive behaviour in an ongoing relationship between intimate partners or family members.
