I was fortunate to spend six nights in room 708 at this amazing hotel. The staff at Hotel Vintage were absolutely wonderful from start to finish, the room was faultless and the facilities impeccable. I have to admit, I'm not a wine person - instead I'm one of those beer people - so the wine theme wasn't the main draw for my stay. If you are a wine buff, then I have to mention that they have very tastefully decorated every inch of the hotel carefully without overstepping the mark into tackiness. Each room is named after a vineyard, and some of the art (such as that over the headboard of my bed) is even made from something wine related, such as old corks. Several evenings I bumped into a regular wine tasting session in the lobby, which starts around 5pm, and there is a strong emphasis on the discovery of new wines and local vineyards which I can certainly appreciate. If you are not a wine buff, such as myself, then don't stress - this will not impact your visit at all. Are you a pet person instead? This hotel is super pet friendly, and I met quite a few friendly dogs and their owners downstairs, but again if you're not a pet person I can tell you I never bumped into a single pooch in the hallway and never heard or smelled anything such that I was always surprised to see an animal in the elevator. It has been a long time since I've been in a hotel where the room was so comfortable that I don't have a single gripe - the air conditioner was barely noticeable (a rarity in itself), in fact barely a single noise from the hallway or the street, and despite the windows being sealed shut the air quality within the room was great. Combined with the comfortable bed, I slept well, which is important when you're in town on business. With all of this, everything around down town is readily accessible by foot. If you're coming from the airport, you can even take the Central Link light rail from the airport to University. The Washington State Convention Center and Pike Market are just a stone's throw away too. I cannot fault this hotel or its staff. Don't hesitate to stay here if you're in Seattle - I hope to return some day!

Stayed here on a business trip.. Very relaxing and comfortable stay. Didn't do any wine tasting; don't drink. Close to many tourist places in downtown Seattle.

Had a very nice experience at the Vintage Park in Seattle. Wine hour was fun (but a little cramped just cause of the lobby size). Enjoyed the very comfortable beds and accommodations and the location is excellent if you like shopping, theatre, and fresh market! Only problem I had was the bell service/check in was a little wild. Struggled through it as I brought my dogs. Felt like I was getting rushed which was not good considering how hard it is to get dogs in and out of cars, hotels, and doing restroom trips. Other then that it was wonderful.

I took a trip to Seattle for my birthday and decided to stay here because it appeared to be a classy place for a reasonable price in the heart of downtown within walking distance to Pike Place Market, and the wine reception every evening sold me on booking. Upon arrival I was immediately impressed. The staff was so pleasant, helpful and friendly. I really liked the intimate feeling of the place (unlike the huge empty feeling in some hotel lobbies). They upgraded our room, which was also fabulous, at no additional cost and sent up a special birthday gift... there is no other place I will stay when I'm back in Seattle again! I would highly recommend a stay here.

Was a very good experience, got the room at a steep discount by bidding on price line, so a 200$ was only $90. The room was very nice, large television and great amenities. Due to its nice nature, nothing is complementary however, not a big deal, a great experience. Also expect to pay another 40$ a day for parking, this is not unusual staying in downtown Seattle, not a negative just something to keep in mind.

The customer service is outsanding here. I over book the hotel by a day through a third party. I called the third party to see if they could give me a refund but all they said was to bad. I told this to Jennifer Gile the manager at the front office. She said that she would refund me the day. I was blown away that she did this, I know that many other hotels would not do this. They put the customer first and that made this stay outstanding.

Nice vintage feeling hotel. Air conditioning did not work, and room was uncomfortably warm. Well appointed in an excellent location.

It's nice enough but not particularly luxurious. Things I liked: Location is terrific. The general decor is very nice. The concierge and desk staff were nice. Walk-in closet. Things I didn't like: The valet wasn't very friendly. No bell service - we did our own luggage arriving and leaving. Room very very small for a double queen - hard to move around. Specific room decor was cheap. The teeny tiny bathroom was identical to a La Quinta in my home town. No morning coffee service, no newspaper available. A friend (who didn't come with us) made the reservation through Priceline so perhaps that's why it wasn't the best. If so, that's a big mistake as each of us regularly come to Seattle on business, and determined we would never pay full price for what it was. Couldn't figure out what the "luxury" was except maybe the wide screen TV. Fewer amenities than most cookie cutters places.
