Found the spot by just walking around with my boyfriend and decided to sit at the bar for a few drinks and appetizer. The bartender, I think his name was Brent or was the bar manager, was amazing! His cocktails were mixed to perfection and his experimental drinks were on point. The meatballs appetizer was to good and made my boyfriend like olives for the first time. Brent and the restaurant manager that day are a lively pairing that makes you feel like you are at home. I will definitely be recommending the place to any guests staying at my hotel and coming back myself!

Delicious food, perfect service, romantic and lovely environment. My husband and I went back there last night for the second time to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary, so I made reservations and had told them as such. They gave us the best seat in the house and surprised us with complimentary tiramisu with a lit candle. Walking charming, eclectic and buzzing Ballard Avenue at night before and after dinner is an extra treat. I highly recommend it.

Every time my wife and come here it is incredible! Every dish we have tried is top notch and the wine is a good selection of local and non-local. The service is great.

We had dinner inside and it was full of baby fly's the service and food was not in relation with the price. They din't have any type of herbs to add to my olive oil. Good bread! Good Salad! Mediocre pork chops. The lady hostess was rude...

Ambiance was great. Service good. Oil soup was good. Crispy chicken very good. Pasta was very average to below average. Wine was okay--could be better if it were not so warm, warm wine is not good...

I don't give five stars easily, but this restaurant has earned it. The food is well prepared and perfectly seasoned. I have tried a variety of items on the menu and everything has been excellent. The atmosphere is warm and beautiful. The staff is attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. My wife and I love this restaurant and will certainly be back again soon. We recently celebrated our anniversary there and it was a perfect night out.

Great Saturday afternoon lunch. Moderately priced, however, food was terrific. Service was friendly and attentive. Lamb Ragu was wonderful. Ballard area is a bee hive of activity. Come with no agenda and take in the scene.

Ignore the idiots whining about price and not knowing the Italian names for the wines, they can go eat at the Olive Garden. This place is not inexpensive, but then again the food is wonderful and pretty seasonal. I have been coming back here for years, it is still my favorite restaurant in all of Seattle. If they happen to have Braised Ox Tail on the menu, get it.
