An awesome old-fashioned diner experience. The staff really goes out of the way to make you feel at home. The food is enough to fuel you up for a busy day touring Boston and the price is right. Will become one of out go to stops in town.

A good, cheap, diner-style breakfast... Which is something that's getting harder to find in Boston these days.

Terrific coffee, good good food, friendly Bostonian staff. Had the corned-beef hash 4 times so far, but switched to bacon and oatmeal today. Off to get the roastbeef club now. Don't want to go home .

We were so lucky to find this little gem on our recent trip to Boston. I was hungry for a good old-fashioned breakfast of eggs, pancakes and hashbrowns and did not want to spend $15 for it. The Busy Bee was a 6 block walk from the Buckminster Hotel in the opposite direction of Fenway. Their pancakes have changed my pancake eating experience forever. They use a Swedish pancake type of recipe and I may spend the rest of my life attempting to duplicate it. The atmosphere of the place is like a 1960s type diner with a breakfast bar and the grills right out front where you can see your food being prepared. They are not attempting to replicate this atmosphere. You can tell this is how the diner has looked and been run for decades. Some other reviewers have mentioned that the owner will sometimes go on rants, and it is true; we got to witness it! But I didn't feel it detracted at all...I loved it! The Busy Bee is a very honest, down to earth, affordable, and good place to eat. We ate there 2 days in a row and would have gone back for a third if we didn't have to get to the airport. Highly recommend!!!

I'm currently working nearby and tried it for breakfast one day. Great breakfast! Since then been here almost daily for lunch and/or breakfast. Can't beat the prices either. Also love the abrasive yet super friendly waitresses. Reminds me a little of the old show alice at mels diner. Try it!
