Here is a new concept I made: Instagram Experience, a tablet version of Instagram. Please don’t mind the Nexus 10 tablet or the outdated Android version. It's just to show off the experience. I didn't design it with a platform in mind.

Adobe XD now has a free plan. I used it extensively for 5 months during my internship and it’s definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re on Windows or if you’re looking for a multi-platform solution.

Someone from Adobe showed us some features which were then “coming soon” and a year later most of them still are.

Upcoming features:
“Advanced prototyping and animation capabilities, new team collaboration features, and support for extending XD via plug-ins” (Material Theming?)

There are a lot of design / prototyping tools now and things like Figma put a lot of pressure on Adobe, so it’s interesting to see how the battle evolves.

This really is Material Design growing up. Also good to know is that Google is talking with partners besides Sketch to get Material Theming into other design tools (Adobe XD) as well.

Visited the Shapeways' 3D printing factory in Eindhoven today. One of their printers was doing 500+ models in one print to keep things as efficient as possible. Next level Tetris.
