2 min video about a battery that charges in 1 minute, invented at Stanford :)  made of cheaper Aluminum, not Lithium.

The paper will be published at nature.com on April 8. The paper is called "An ultrafast rechargeable aluminium-ion battery," by Lin et.al. doi:10.1038/nature14340

Geospatially accurate Three.js scenes integrated with Google Maps?   Indeed

Team SF4D spent the weekend at the Urban Data Canvas hackathon putting the latter together.   Congrats to  +Jason Vestri and +Ye Wang on an excellent job!

We're going to keep working on it and hopefully have some code available soon!

Anyone have any building footprints and LIDAR data we can use?

AngularJS & THREEjs - Service(Factory), Directive and Controller
I've seen a few examples of integrating THREE.js and AngularJS but most of them have been pretty basic and encapsulate a THREE.js scene into a directive.   For many apps, I believe using an AngularJS Factory is a far better approach would be to use an Angular factory.       #threejs   #angularjs   #3D   #html5   #JavaScript   #webgl
