Hand Crafted Wines. Modern Casual Dining.

The Cooper’s Hawk concept includes four distinct components: an upscale casual dining restaurant, full-service bar, private barrel-aging room, and Napa-style tasting room and retail gift store…all under one roof. Each Cooper’s Hawk location is distinctive in layout and décor, but carries the same warmth and elegance that guests have come to expect.

Went there for dinner on December 30th 2014. We had reservations for 7:30pm, when we checked they said they were running 10 minutes behind. The staff was very courteous and we were seated at just before 8. The manager came to our table apologized for the longer wait and comped us our two glasses of wine. Definitely something that he didn't need to do but was greatly appreciated. The food and atmosphere was wonderful, try the lobster bisque.

Reservations on Valentine's day several weeks in advance. A manager called me on Thursday to confirm my reservation. I drove all the way up from Racine for dinner and was told they were 45 minutes behind reservations and it was due to a glitch in the reservation system, we were unable to wait that long. I understand these things happen but I could have been called in advance, like on Thursday when they were calling people to confirm reservations, before I drove all the way up here from Racine. Spend almost two hours in the car for nothing.

I just love the wine here, they have some good reds, and my friends love the whites too. The restaurant is so great. We have loved all the entrees and appetizers we have tried here, they really know how to prepare food and present it well. Nice combinations to choose from. I also love the fact that we can open a bottle of our wine club wine at the dinner table and no charge for doing that. We also have dinnd at the bar and the bartenders are just amazing. They know their stuff, wines, and menu. They are always helpful and so nice. The wine club is worth joining, we do a wine tasting each month with different friends.

Average food with very slow service at the Cracker Barrel for adults. I have to get my family to stop choosing chain restaurants. Our server, Tenisha, was very nice but it took forever to get anything. I don't know if it was her fault but 15 minutes between drink orders and about 40 minutes from entree orders is too long. I would understand if we were sipping wine but just a couple from our group of 7 had drinks. Everything looked great but it was all just ok. Our table had a little of everything from salad, pasta, burgers and chicken but no one would order the same thing again. The highlight had to be the sausage flat bread but it's hard to mess that up. I would go back if someone really wanted to sip on wine but not for the food.

Harsh 1 star but you just cannot treat people this way. I'm out to celebrate my wife's Bday and Valentine's Day. Yes planning which involves having parents come visit to watch the kids. Visited Friday 13th and had Open Table reservation for 545. Got there at 540 and host said they would be ready closer to 545 and they would text me. So at 615 I went to ask if I mistook 545 for closer to 645? Host had trouble finding my reservation, yes for the second checkin. With much reserve we stayed and were sat at 630 (45min after a reservation?), that's just unheard of. Waitress Sam was great (she still got her 20% tip). Food (lobster tail and filet special and wife had filet, ahi tuna app, banana pie, creme brûlée, cappuccino, mojito) was good but really you can get that a lot of places. Needless to say I will never be going back. You only get 1 chance to make a first impression. Mine was a joke, visit at your own risk.

We had such an amazing time at lunch! The waiter really made it special. He was kind, thoughtful, and fun. He even gave us his card, so we can request him to serve us specifically next time--which we will do! Not only that, but the wine and the food were amazing.

This is probably my favorite place to eat or have some drinks. I feel it is one of the best places in terms of overall service, and value. The food is exceptional, the wines are great and the atmosphere is fun as well.
