Larry Johnson and his Buckhead Auto Staff, have always been kind, courteous, and FAIR. I can ALWAYS depend on Larry to give me a competitive quote, dispel my (cost) anxieties, repair my vehicle(s) AND stand by his work. The shop has great "work ethic". Thank you for being personable, yet honorable.

Fair warning: Do some research before spending your money here. Keep records of the quotes given vs the bills received. They are local and available almost 'on call' but if you do not understand cars and mechanical systems then AVOID this shop. They will take advantage of the uneducated customer and smile while doing it. Make sure to have them prove the repair and explain the work/show replaced parts. Their invoice system is ancient and lacks any details. Just a bunch of rough guys trying to make it

I visited Buckhead Auto Care at their new space on Peachtree Rd and couldn't be happier. I had a bad transmission on my 05 neon SXT that needed to be fixed ASAP. The price was great and Larry and his staff did a phenomenal job on my car. Not only did my transmission get fixed, but a few minor things were taken care of as well. I will definitely be back in the future!

Thieves with a big smile. Short Story: -Took my car in for jerking issues. -Larry told me my car was acting up because I had aftermarket parts on it, and I needed dealer parts. -Car had worse jerking AFTER they worked on it -Was charged for dealer parts -Parts were actually from AutoZone -I confronted Larry. Larry refunded me for parts and labor -A reputable shop later found the issue was a rusted electrical wire. Replaced for under $100. Long Story: Took my car in for jerking issues. I told Larry about my previous experience with shops not fixing my cars problems, instead charging me for TRYING to fix the issue. He assured me he would not give me my car back until it was fixed. They installed new engine mounts and charged way too much labor. Takes literally 5 minutes and 4 bolts to replace these. When I came in to pick up my car it jerked worse than before. Larry recommended I give them another chance to fix the issue. He was not willing to refund me for the incorrect diagnosis and unnecessary work. The parts still had stickers on them with part numbers. I googled the part numbers and it turned out the parts were from AutoZone. I went back to the shop and confronted Larry, he blamed another employee at the shop. I was refunded. They will not let you look at your car while they work on it and show you exactly what is broken/needs replaced. Every reputable shop I've worked with allows you to see your car on the lift before they work on it, so you can see exactly what the issue is. Stay far away from these over priced thieves. Do not believe these fake positive reviews.

Larry is the absolute best! This was my first experience at Buckhead Auto Care. Larry's shop truly is the remedy to the pain of the dealership and the exhausting search for an honest mechanic. I had a fuel leak. Initially we thought it was the injector. After securing the necessary parts, Larry found that the problem was actually with the fuel pump. He immediately called me and told me to take my car to the dealer where they would fix it free of charge as it was a recall item. He was so kind and said he wouldn't charge me for any of the work that was already done. This could have easily turned into a very pricey job. However, he only hoped that I would be a long-term customer of which I am most happy to oblige. He even showed me the problem so I could see it for myself and offered to draft a write-up to provide to the dealer. If you are looking for a someone you can trust with your car, Larry is the man you need!

Superb service. Cost way less than expected. Even did a couple extra things for no charge. Definitely recommending and will most definitely return if I encounter any further automotive problems.

These guys have serviced my vehicle for several years now. As a woman and informed consumer I am cautious of auto mechanics and particularly large dealership service departments who sometimes inflate their prices based on gender. Larry, Hiram and the team have always been very upfront and honest with respect to necessary repairs needed. I recently took my SUV in for an irritating roaring noise that seemed to get worse. John the Lexus specialist took it for a road test and determined it was a bad wheel bearing. They had it repaired the same day and Larry even showed me a hidden gem and great coffee shop right next door called "The Cookie Studio" which has complementary wifi access so I was able to work there while my SUV was being worked on. This place has the best spinach pie and their cookies are sinfully delicious. Buckhead Auto simply rocks for taking good care of my SUV!!
