so far , its very quiet and nice. you get a decent sized patio , great staff and parking isnt that bad due to a system they have as well as a security guard who patrols at night the price is worth the sprinter noise. and yes there is a bigger train around 1030 pm, but guess what ? i got used to it and i live right next to the fence it drives by anyways.... great spot to jump to anywhere between oceanside and the 15 freeway !

I have never hated living anywhere as much as I hated living at Millcreek Apartments. There is a horrible noise problem. I have a one year old who is woken up at least 3 times a week by cars blaring music outside our apartments. I can literally see my neighbors smoking crack. The cops are here at least once a week. I have made complaints to management and nothing has ever been done about it. Natasha in particular has been increasingly difficult to talk to. I have never met a more disrespectful "community manager" (what a joke!) in my life. We have had tons of problems we asked to be fixed and nothing gets done the first time. And now that our lease is up in 6 weeks I couldn't be happier. I found the perfect apartment in Carlsbad but they wont let me out of my lease 2 weeks early. I really hate this place. We moved here in a hurry because I was pregnant and was due any minute and we needed a place to live. I will never make that mistake again. Do not move here. You will seriously regret it, we did.

lived at Mill Creek since October 2008 and do not have a single complaint to make. The rent is good, the management is super nice and helpful. I mean, when are AC broke they replaced it the NEXT day with a brand new one. Also, The maintenance men are really nice and helpful. I have had no problems what so ever living here and will continue to live here for as long as possible!

I have lived here for 2 1/2 years and I love this place! The management is great. If I ever have a maintenance problem the men are normally here within that same day to fix it. the maintenance men are nice and very clean workers. I've had a couple of issues with neighbors and once I spoke to Natasha ( the manager) about them within 24 hours the issues have been addressed and resolved! This is a quiet and nice place to live. I never see police in here. People don't blare their car radios and drive very slow. I'm not sure who others have dealt with but its not the management that I have now. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

Man this place sucked. Lived here for two years; Pro's: Close to Palomar college, the 78, and the Sycamore shopping center. Small buildings, so a little less noise (though see below). Also has fireplaces in each unit (but also, see below) Con's: I've seen it all; seen management shuffled around a few times, seen multiple units catch fire (including ours), and seen the police cordon off half a building once as that was where a serial rapist kept his victims. -Maintenance has gotten a little better, but before the reshuffle I would have been better off taking care of the place myself. Typically had to call management twice to take care of the same problem, it was handled that badly. -Traffic at the end of the day is terrible; good luck getting into the complex come rush hour. Parking is pretty atrocious, too. -It's right by the railroad tracks, and an intersection at that. If you're a light sleeper, this place is your worst nightmare - freight trains roll through around 4 in the morning, horns blaring. You have been warned. -The pool is an over-chlorinated toilet, and the jacuzzi doesn't work half the time. -I wouldn't say that the walls are paper-thin, but you can hear people sneeze through them. -When the buildings were first built, the fireplaces and chimneys were designed for gas-burners. Later when a new owner came in, he had them changed to log-burning. And ten years later, no one's thought to sweep the chimneys. This has resulted in multiple chimney fires throughout the complex - I was one of them. -It's expensive. -They'll shaft you on your deposit. I left that place thinking I'd get at least $200 back out of my $600 deposit. Got a letter in the mail the other day saying that I actually *owe them* $450. All in all, avoid this place at all costs.

Probably the worst place Ive ever lived. Yeah management is nice at first til you get the apartment. As soon as I got in here I had a disgusting roach problem. Then came fleas. They came and sprayed twice which didn't work so I fished out my own money on my own traps at Walmart! Also if your military this isn't a good place either. If the military decides to pcs or deny a reenlistment you can't use a military clause to get out of your contract.

Place is very family oriented. My son is a little one and has plenty of friends to play with. Yes there are your onesies and twosies of incidents, but they had those when I lived in "upscale" Rancho Bernardo. Are the walls thin? Just about as thin as my neighbors in Rancho Bernardo were who lived across the walk way and yelling at eachother outside. All in all it's a nice place to live and very affordable.
