Has anyone said anything bad about Tomb of Annihilation yet? I'm seriously considering it for my 5e campaign.

I would love to do Hot Springs Island but I don't have much time to prep or convert anything for this campaign, so I really need something already in 5e.

One set of data I'd like to see is the average word count of spells across various D&D versions and clones. I suspect my favorites would be on the site of brevity.

On a bit of a musical nostalgia trip. This is a Japanese experiential music compilation I listened to a ton in high school.

Starting at 20:12 is "Kimi No Sora" by Shizuka. This remains one of my favorite songs of all time. If I am ever in a coma this song can probably wake me up. It combines sad dreamy ambiance with thrashing noisy guitars. Those were my chief musical interests as a teenager.

Critical things missing from Spotify:

1. Most of Coil's discography, specifically Musick to Play in the Dark, vol.1
2. Charli XCX's Japanese songs.

Has anyone made an RPG called "Elf Game" yet?

I've been looking into good jobs for introverts but I don't think that's my problem. I just want to be able to work on something without CONSTANT INTERRUPTION.

While discussing the upcoming Punisher show with a younger friend, he starts talking about how he was skeptical of Bernthal playing a convincing Frank Castle, based on his depiction in the Punisher MAX series.

Me: Yeah, but no actor working looks like him. No one is that gruesome.

Him: Dolph Lundgren might pull it off.

Me: He had his chance!

Him: What?

Me: You... you don't know?

I remember loving that first Punisher movie as a kid. I'm sure it doesn't hold up, but I thought it was a perfectly fine adapation of late-eighties Frank Castle and cheesy grimdark comics in general.
