Calling all early 80s bedroom coders: Janet McKnight and I are lending a couple of machines to the "Geek is Good" exhibition (http://blogs.mhs.ox.ac.uk/mhs/geek-good/) and could do with some input about quick and easy programming tasks (in BBC Basic and/or Sinclair SuperBASIC) for visitors to do, in addition to having the person's name scrolling down the screen in different colours.

The nascent plans may include web-cam screen captures and posting to social media for those playing with the machines and possible special programming days.

Possibly also looking for a couple of early 80s home computer magazines too if we can't get our own.

Can you help out?

Very interesting video from the Boston Computer Society meeting showing off the Macintosh for the first time. It runs for one and a half hours. In some ways the last 15 minutes shot after the main event is the most interesting...

I've been a playing with the #Elite: Dangerous alpha... Well polished for an alpha. I just love the lighting in the cockpit as the starlight flickers in between the asteroids.
