Well as everyone says pulled pork is to die for... its the only place this side of the Atlantic where you can find true smoked meat!! especially pork.. but you gotta try the KC Brisket!! OMG!! would be understating it... if anyone seen the movie CHEF lately... and remember the smoked stake being served in Texas... You can truly experience it here with an American "dead guy" Ale.. leaving you nicely light any hot summer's day.. Don't be shy to share a seat back to back on the Poland street if the inside is busy. PS: Don't try to party here or have a get together.. you wouldn't truly ask your friends to party around a food truck would ya? this is a place to enjoy great frigging meat...other words...its a foodie joint where you can talk to your seated neighbors without prejudice

I love Bodean's, classic American BBQ it doesn't get much better than a full plate of pulled pork & burnt ends with chunky coleslaw & fries. The portions are generous and the food is good. Upstairs gets quite busy, but you can usually jump on a table after a short wait. They have all sorts of US sports on the TV screens dotted around, a great place to watch baseball, American football, college basketball and more Probably not the place to go if your a vegetarian & don't like watching US sport, but otherwise I'd definitely recommend this place

Arrive hungry, leave needing a stomach pump. Big portions of very satisfying food (if meat, served with meat, sates you) dished out over two floors. Gets very busy, even mid week, so come early to get your name down for a table. Atmosphere of the restaurant is very much like sports bar - possibly due to the sport pumped out onto the numerous wall-mounted TVs. Join their loyalty club (which I think you can do through the website) to benefit from a different deal of the day each week.

I had high hopes for this going in and came away from the meal concluding that it was good but not great. The place is dark and tightly packed. The service was good for our 8 or so strong group. There's a reasonable selection of drinks on offer at average prices. I shared a 'Boss Hog Platter' which had a full selection of meats. The burnt ends were excellent, as were the sausages and pork ribs. The beef ribs and pulled pork were very dry, and the chicken was a bit too well done (i.e. burnt) in parts. So a mixed bag; overall good but could have been better, though at £17.50 per head it's not too pricey in terms of quantity.

The food here is great, no exceptions. Fatty, salty and meaty, it makes for a perfect hangover cure and puts a lot of other pulled pork spots in London to shame. My only complaint would be about the male-orientated, sports bar themed setting. It's not really to my style and the large crowds of drunken men make it really unpleasant to eat here at times. That aside, it's great. Get the Soho special and go for a run afterwards when you start to feel your arteries clogging.

Consistently good food and occasionally a smidge better. The best thing on the menu is surely the beef ribs!
