Took about two hours to wait for a table, and I think I was the only female there. Very dated, masculine decor- I think it is 'Soft-Rock' themed! But when the meat came it was amazing! We shared a mixed platter between 3 of us - the babyback ribs and burnt ends were delicious. If you like meat, you'll love it, but I wouldn't take a vegetarian here!

Good place for all kind of meat. The ground floor area appears like a diner, where food gets served on metal trains. The downstairs area is a low light restaurant. Good for dinner with friends. They don't accept bookings for parties smaller than 8. I went there on a Thursday and queue was 45 min-1hr! Huge portions!

I'll be the first to stand up and admit I have a slight (big) Bodeans addiction. Sure, I always order the same food every time I visit -- the jerk chicken burger is incredible - but friends I've visited with have always praised their pulled pork sandwiches and the ribs too. Served with perfectly cooked fries and their wicked spicy bbq sauce, along with fresh salad in your burgers, this place can do little wrong. It's a great take on good old fashioned American BBQ joints, and if you're into your American sports, you can find baseball and football games playing on the tv screens dotted around the table and comfy booths. Expect to wait on an evening for a seat downstairs in the resturant, this place gets busy really quickly! If you can't wait, or simply want a quick bite to eat, they have a cool deli upstairs where you can get food to go or sit on the communal tables instead. Don't forget to ask for a Bodeans Q card too, you can use this throughout all their locations to get great deals during the week like 2 for 1 or discounted drinks and free deserts.

I went to Bodean's on two separate occasions looking for classic southern US food and I must say I have been only half satisfied. The Soho branch on Poland street is quite small and gets packed really easily. Clearly Bodean's is the palace of ribs even though it misses on other typical soul food items such as butter biscuits. If you are looking for meat cooked on the grill American style, then Bodean's will satisfy you. If you are looking more for a full-on southern food experience, there are some lacking areas. There aren't many places in London with this offering so dishes such as Jambalaya etc. would have been great to have vs. Jamaica jerk chicken. Overall, great place if you crave pork ribs

Absolute meat heaven. Cannot wait to go back. Bbq sauce to die for, burnt ends that just crumble in your mouth, crisp fries, amazing pulled pork and ribs, a short wait time for the food and excellent value for money. Definitely a gem in London's food scene. 100% recommend!

One of my favourite places I can tell. When you arrive you can choose if you want to dine in, in the restaurant compartment, want to have a bite in the canteen style part or want to order for take away. If you want to sit down quickly to grab something or want to order for take away you will need to queue up at the till (from the left side, really important ;) ). When your ordered you will receive the number for your order and have to wait a little when someone will shout your number, so make sure you listen to this. Someone will deliver your food to the table/can collect it. The food is simple and delicious. It is a meat eating heaven and everything is just simply mouthwateringly flavourful. If you are visiting for the service or you are on a budget it is definitely not the place for your If you are looking for great food with loads of meat and tasty dishes it is the best place to eat at. I could eat Bodean's every day if I could. I would advise Bodean's to do a lunch menu for take away but I guess they are not in a need for it as it is always packed.

A nice combination between the sport bar(TVs, the loudness and the crowd), the fast food (for the counter and the ordering process) and the BBQ restaurant (for the food). All in all, was a pretty cool experience.

American BBQ with UK Chips. Would recommend the Boston Butt sandwich but no sauce and go vinegar sauce (on table). Thats what we call southern barbecue.
