And here is the article from the Chicago Tribune, because I think they're a far better news source.

I'll upload some photos of the damage in a bit.

And it's confirmed. My house was hit by a tornado last night.

Our damage is not too bad, but still pretty significant.

It can never be easy.

I don't quite get it, but here it is anyhow.

Enjoy (or don't).
I just found out why this worked for me but most people said it didn't work. It's because I shared it to a community. So I was amazed, but then everyone was like "I don't get it", and I didn't understand why until I wanted to see it again, so I shared it again, this time to Public, and it didn't happen that time, so I shared it privately with a friend of mine and still nothing happened, then all it made sense. I read the comments on the original post, and most of the people were unimpressed but a few were all "Oh My God!!!" because most of them were sharing it publicly and privately, and it doesn't work if you do that. So you know that now.

My hinges were starting to fail, to the point that my Cr-48 no longer wanted to close straight.

So I took it apart, and epoxied the shit out of it.

It's been a couple weeks, with heavy use, and I've had no issues thus far. Seems pretty durable.

+Ivan Zupan I sent you a message on Google Hangouts -- I'd like to talk soon, if possible. Thanks!

Jellybean for the Infinity is here!

Looking forward to the awesomeness this brings to CM10.

C'mon ASUS, give us some kernel sources!

So, I bought a bluetooth keyboard and mouse (primarily for use with my ASUS Transformer Infinity Android tablet).

I've decided that they are pure awesome. I have a Raspberry Pi coming (at some point, ugh -- was supposed to arrive before the end of August). I'm going to Android-ify and XBMC-ify it. The bluetooth keyboard and mouse will prove to be awesome for that, as well.

I (personally) hate how wireless keyboards and mice use the proprietary dongles -- why not make them all bluetooth, and perhaps just sell a dongle (cheap) for the people that need it? I think that'd be a lot more logical, seeing as bluetooth is so versatile, and is designed for use cases such as this.

Ok, I'm done ranting.

Anyhow, bluetooth keyboard and mouse: worthwhile investment. Now to get a new pair of A2DP headphones.
