Though the design, menus, and general feel of the hotel are not cutting edge (thankfully?), everything about it was great. The room was clean and spacious and had everything you'd expect, the staff were all courteous and professional, the food at the restaurant was well above average, and best of all, the gym was HUGE. It's set up around wide open space surrounding the pool, with plenty of cardio options, free weights, stretching/cross training area, and a separate weight machine room with a full circuit. Very impressive! Not to mention the lap pool. I would definitely recommend it for business travel.

Nice lobby, clean room friendly staff, but amenities are bare bones. Expect to pay extra if you want: internet, breakfast buffet, refrigerator, or anything else.

I stayed at this hotel while on a business trip, so it served every need! If I were on a vacation to DC, I'd prefer to be closer to the action and restaurants. They allowed us early check-in with no hassle and the concierge walked us through the do's and don'ts during our stay. We wanted to sight-see like tourists, but eat like the locals and with the advice we received, we did just that! I was able to get work outs in in the morning and the free WiFi at the bar at night was perfect to catch up on work back in Chicago. Overall a great experience!

I just visited the hotel for 5 days and want to thank the staff for a wonderful vacation. From the check-in, to check out was a pleasant experience. I took my 15 & 16 year old granddaughters for a vacation to remember! Dave at the Concierge Desk advised the best things to do, when to do them and how to save a few coins doing all the tourist stops... we so appreciated that. I would advise you to stay at the Hyatt close to the capitol as it is advantageous to visit so many places of interest. Mount Vernon and Arlington are a must see

Huge building. Horrible internet since you have to pay. Room was good. Prime location. You have to pay for valet parking which is mandatory. 49.00 extra for overnight. Parking on the streets on the weekend is free!
