Great hotel. Very nice lobby / entrance and friendly service. The room itself was nice and quiet with a decent view. In a sleepy part of DC in the evenings and within walking distance of both judiciary square metro station and union station

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around... Great location two blocks from the Capitol. ..hotel staff courteous & very prompt in replying to your needs... our team stayed here & by far the best place I've stayed in my 17 years of coaching. ..would highly recommend

Overall, really nice hotel. Service was good, wifi was stable, the room was nice. My only complaints were that there were no slippers and there was no fridge.

Check in was wonderful. The room sized appropriately. Details overlooked after we were in. Room cleaning was mediocre and when we called down to correct an issue, they seemed to get the correction wrong. Multiple responses from different parties at our door. Communication seems to be a problem among staff. Location is amazing and it causes you to forgive a lot.

If I could give this hotel negative stars I would. The best word to use to describe the room I was given is DISGUSTING. Everything just looked so dirty. There was hair all over the bed and the headboard was stained. It looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in weeks. I would not suggest staying here by any means. Hyatt should be embarrassed. Luckily they did offer another room that was cleaner. But first impressions mean everything.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I especially enjoyed the Regency Club access and the prepared meals and snacks. The property was clean and I was impressed at the maintenence of the various facilities (Fitness Center, Vending Area/Microwave). Although the staff was willing to provide me with requested items, it took a while for delivery. 20 minutes for robes and deodorant? Otherwise I enjoyed my stay and, if needed, will stay again.

Upon arrival, we found out there was no parking except to pay $60 for valet parking, the only option! So on top of the $160/per night we had to pay more! The valet lady was rude and spoke as though we were stupid; how were we supposed to know? Then, upon checking in, the male was quite obviously forcing upon himself to be friendly, rushed through our check in, and didn't ask to see if we had questions or anything. So all I know is the pool is somewhere, and my room number was on my key, I don't know if he even told me what the number was. The room was an okay size, bathroom was kind of small yet pretty. There were two hairs on the sink- gross. Pillows were very comfortable, however the material of the sheets and blankets did not agree with my skin. Thought about ordering breakfast, but it was so expensive and there were so many hidden charges! The lobby is beautiful, elevators are very quick, and the hotel is pretty close to all of DCs attractions. However- it definitely lacks friendliness.
