The Manhattan Pride defeated the NYC BlackEagles by the score of 129-121. The Pride had 9 players score over 6 points including 7 players in double figures.

The game started with both teams going back and forth as the first quarter ended, the Pride was up by 8.

In the 2nd quarter, the bench came in and started to expand the lead to as much as 16 points.

In the 4th quarter the BlackEagles made a run to cut the lead to six before the Pride made timely baskets putting the game away.

The Pride's leading scorer was Matthew Collazo with 20 points off the bench. Arnell "Mega" Milton scored 18 points. Steven Grant and Ahmed Nayaga both scored 17 points apiece.

Sonam Lama came off the bench along with Collazo and gave a big lift with 14 points. William Modeste scored 14 points, all in the 2nd half.

Rodney Lewis pace the Pride with steady point guard play along with Milton. Lewis scored 13 points. The perimeter defense and attacking playing styles of both Stanley Stevens and Seon Jack scored 6 and 7 respectively.

The turning point of game was the perimeter defensive pressure of Lama, Jack, and Lewis full court pressured the BlackEagles' guards getting steals and layups. The defense help spurred a lead that went as high as 22 points in the 3rd quarter, 88-66.

The Pride is 1-1 in the APBL season.
