- Nice way to show the ideas.
Unsolicited editorial: Traditional trigonometry plays with irrational constants (PI) and irrationally-valued functions of angles (sin, cos), and produces irrational values for lengths. Which is all well and good, logically, given the premises. But as an aficionado of triangles, I have concluded that they ought to be considered as wholes instead of being taken apart into angles and edges ... and when considered as wholes, the math of triangles becomes much simpler and more powerful.May 16, 2013
- Lovely! The article gives a link to the entire album and that has some more impressive mathematical animations: http://imgur.com/a/VTMUq#0May 16, 2013
- Thanks for the unsolicited editorial. I am interested by what you mean by saying triangles ought to be considered as wholes instead of being taken apart into angles and edges. Could you elaborate or point me to some source/example that could explain this approach. Thanks!May 16, 2013
