Holy Hierarch Eumenius, pray to God for us! "With diligence, you flew like a bee through spiritual meadows, hunting for sweet honey and storing it up in the hive of your heart." [Sep 18, St Eumenius the Wonderworker, Bishop of Gortynia, Matins Canon, Ode 3]

This is a very interesting article because "graven images" are not allowed in Judaism. If you go to this link to read the article, be sure to click on the photo for an enlargement. Quite impressive! -MA

I thought that this article is interesting. I also reflected on the fact that the human race continues to build these towers, some out of stone, others in the form of ideas. In any case, all are vain pursuits and divisive.
A team of scholars has discovered what might be the oldest representation of the Tower of Babel.

I don't know if or when the tomb is ever opened. In posting it, I hoped that maybe someone would have more information. If the body is there is one question, but I am more curious about the body supposedly getting longer!

oooooooooo! Can't wait! [take a breath and come to reality] They will probably buy one of those inflatable churches and the Ark will still be hidden. [*sigh ... joyful thought] Now off to Church where I can see the tabernacle and receive the eucharist. :)
The Ark - said to hold the original Ten Commandments - is said to have been kept in Aksum, in the Chapel of the Tablet, adjacent to St Mary of Zion Church, since the 1960s.

Since today is the commemoration of the Prophet Nahum, I am posting this link in the NY Times that mentions his tomb in Qosh, Iraq.
